So they will be an offensive powerhous now but how does this affect the future of marner, Mathews, nylander. Those are going to be some tough contracts and they still have issues wilth defence. What's your thoughts I can't wait to see the armchair possibilities for the leafs on how they address the future.

Marner and Nylander being wingers are in a different market, so I doubt this affects them much. Matthews on the other hand is very much affected.

If Matthews manages to play at Tavares's level he may very well ask for 11+ when his contract expires.
