Something tangible would have to be coming back for Nino, picks won't cut it. The only things that interest me are things Buffalo shouldn't move.

We tried Reinhart at C the 1st half of the season and he sucked. Moved him to RW the 2nd half and played a ton better

Trust me I know. But Botts has repeatedly talked about him as a C so I would think they are considering something like this

I forget who his linemates were when they tried him at C.

Their roster is overflowing right now.. plus they still haven't signed Dumba and Zucker. I think they'd be quite happy with a first and another high pick

He played third line, so he literally played with garbage. I think he could improve as a C if he played with Berglund and Nino or someone else we hopefully trade for. I don't necessarily want it to happen but I think it could work out

Overflowing with non-NHLers. Bring up half of your AHL team and your roster will look overflowing too. I guess Foligno can replace Nino in the top-6 without and issues. sarcasm

Ok then. What would your trade for Nino look like?

To be fair to Reinhart that's brutal to be effective with, they are 4th liners on most teams.

Exactly. I think he deserves a chance with some solid players before we write him off as just a winger

Nothing Buffalo should give up, Dahlin, Risto, Reinhart, Eichel, and Mittelstadt are all that really interest me from Buffalo. The only conversation to be had from those would be Reinhart for Nino as a base deal.

Thompson is somewhat interesting I guess.

You seriously would not consider a first round pick??

A late 1st is of no interest. Nobody is there to makeup for the loss of Nino in the lineup, and there isn't and UFAs worth anything left. Wild currently have 2 solid top-6 lines a weak 3rd line, and a trash 4th line. They aren't in a Division that has a bottom feeder for an easy 8p in the standings.

Creating a hole in the roster for a 1st just doesn't make sense right now. Come the TDL things could change.
