The Sens are going to want either Sergachev or Foote in any deal for Karlsson

For one year? Mmmmmmmmmm no.

They get a capable forward a dman a first a fourth a goalie prospect which they need and a young winger prospect. This will be the best offer they will get period.

Hahaha... no. Kosterjr is right. Even if there's no extension worked out beforehand, some team will pony up a very high end prospect in a package for one year of Karlsson. Gourde's a fine player, Raddysh's a fine prospect, and the TBay first is going to be late. But there's no single piece in that package that the Sens can point to their fans to say they got a really exciting future piece coming back.

I think fans are going to be surprised at the lack of return for Karlsson. All the GMs in the league know this is a dead duck situation and they will not be offering up grade A prospects for him. Vegas wouldn't part with Glass at the deadline and I think the Lightning said Point, Sergachev and Foote were no go at the deadline. Ottawa has to move him, the situation is not good - going to be interesting.

Yanni Gourde was a 25g, 60+ point player last year in Tampa playing on the third line. He is a pretty good player. I would rather keep him over Killorn or Johnson but that is not possible as he is getting 5M on his next deal.
