dubas thinks d can come within? It will have to happen or else a trade will be needed. Borgman and Carrick still in the mix for NHL jobs.

do not think borgman will be able to beat out dermott for a job. babs likes having left and right shot dman, also think holl will beat out carrick with dubas now in charge. People tend to forget we signed ozighanov! curious to see what he looks like at camp.

Leafs are sort the same situation as so many other teams, these know who there top 4 or 5 are.....Reilly, Gardiner, Dermot, Zaitsev, Hainsey. It's the next two that have to NHL good....Borgman, Carrick, Ozighanov or Holl, can two or those players up their game. You mentioned Holl, he's been a career minor league, not reason to think he is an NHLer but hey as a Leaf fan I hope so. Isn't it kind of silly to imply that Dubas is going to dictate playing time for Holl or any player.

no because ultimately he dictates who is on the roster.

but Babcock decides who sits as the 7th dman or who plays the minutes. lou didn't have that power, dubas sure doesn't
