Description

OTT gets: 2 first round picks, a top prospect in Nylander, a useful right shot defenseman who is pretty good when healthy, and Moulson who is a pure cap dump for us but falls off this year. OTT can stick him in the minors.

We sign Karlsson 8x11 that kicks in next year, and have the money to do so once Pominville becomes a FA. We could also bury Ryan or Hunwick in the minors (or buy them out).

It's not terrible, but I feel you have to replace one of Bogosian or Moulson for Berglund or Sobotka for the deal to go through.

i dont see the point in selling future for Karlsson, if we were playoff team that just fell short of finals i can see it. but buffalo isnt in a win now team, we are better off stocking up one more year then making a push in 2020. as much as it sucks coming last it helps build a better future when done right.
