Well he did sign Tavares! He could have sign the kids this year and added a few players at the dead line for a long run. Plus look who's available next year for F/A.
So yes he is dumb.

Wait what? Literally every habs fan in the world was counting on Tavares being the saviour and making the Canadiens something other than a crappy bubble team that won't make the playoffs for the next 8 years. (Price's contract). Who's available next year? Or are all Hab fans now telling themselves that Karlsson and Kucherov will both high FA and sign with Montreal on 3 year 4 million dollar terms because they like the winning culture in Habland?
