I don't see Montreal and Buffalo making those trades at all.
Hutton and Gagner for a 3rd is a bit of a joke since they both could return similar value with retained salary.
Not sure Nilsson is a fit in Buffalo either. I think they could get a 3rd for Nilsson on his own with that retained salary. Gaunce would probably bring back a 5th or 6th in a depth role on a contender up against the cap.

I agree with the trade value issues. I love the way the team is shaped. It brings toughness, speed and brings room for youth. Canucks have to make room for and ice time for Archibald, Leipsic, Boucher and Goldobin to prove themselves. Plus there has to be room for Petterson and Gaudette. Same with Pouliot, Juolevi and Hughes if he signs. Plus Dahlen, Palmu, Jasek, Gadojovic and Lind are all starting to push on the door.
