Had to make it a 4 team trade to make sense, I think this is the only way you dump those contracts - and give room to sign EK65 to an extension.

Nice try, Dunphy, but we are not trading our 1C in a cap dump.

Taking on that terrible contract of Callahan for a mediocre defenseman?
NYR passes.
Also, Steve Y won’t trade Point to get rid of a bad contract

Nope, he's more important to us than Stamkos.

I don’t know what u mean, Point is a #1C on your average team, Stamkos is a franchise center.

I’ll take it as Rangers fan that you do not watch many Lightning games outside of the ones versus NY, but you will find many Lightning fans in agreement with my point. Sure go ahead with your franchise center statement, but it’s simply untrue about the current Stamkos, he’s a passenger now and he doesn’t do well when it matters. Point’s all around game is far better, which is why he is more important to the Lightning than Stamkos.

Again, I don’t know about that. I do watch a decent amount of Lightning games and I watched every single playoff game of theirs, I still feel Stamkos is better. But I guess you know better since you watch them all the time.
Also, Stamkos has gone through some very bad injuries which may have slowed him down or reduced his production rate.
