Islanders easily pass. Losing Boychuk hurts the d even more and bring us closer to a lotto pick. Then have almost 9 million in two bad players who probably make us worse.

If you are looking to get the Islanders pick for a cap dump, it starts With Ladd, and Clutterbuck. Even then it isn't worth giving up a potential top 5 pick.

These trades are completely backwards. Getting a couple of prospect but no picks out of TBL, then getting a first rounder AND Boychuk out of the Isles? It makes no sense. Sens will be getting a first round pick and top prospect at the very least for Karlsson, likely with 2-3 other pieces as well.

Why would Florida pay you for Bobby Ryan? With his contract, the way he's playing, they're giving you a reasonably paid D in Pysyk who doesn't even have a heavy contract to dump AND a top prospect? For Bobby Ryan? That's ridiculous.
