Have to agree with the other posters here, that is a horrible trade for CHI. even WITHOUT Beaudin that trade does NOTHING for Chicago.

Maybe this isn't enough, butI thought Boqvist was the top defensive prospect? Also, I may be wrong but Hagelin at 2M is not trash, nor is Schlemko at 1M, especially for a cap-strapped team paying their Mid-6 centres (Toews and Anisimov) 15M.

regardless, Schlemko is a 5/6 Dman AT best and the Blackhawks have about 4 too many of them as it is. Hagelin brings nothing to the lineup except speed up the wing, but wouldn't crack the top 6, the bottom 6 in CHI is full of young players they have drafted and want to develop. the trade, as a whole just doesnt help CHi in any way.
