I dont think Carter rn is a steal. Y r Wilson and Dumba here? I think Scheifele can replace Wilson and there’s another D-man out there who’s contract is still signed.

say what you want about jeff carter. injuries aside 5.2 is a steal. tom wilson is a top 6 forward making 2 million. dumba had 50 points at 2.5 mil how are they not steals. what do you mean still signed and who is it.

I mean technically Dumba and Wilson arent steals rn cause they’re FAs rn. Its unfortunate that Carter gets injured , but it happens. U dont see ppl thinking Price is worth 10.5, and that’s because of injuries.

ya there RFA but i was talking this past season. price is worth 10.5 he just got unlucky with some injuries. every one gets hurt that doesnt mean your not good it just happens

Remove: Dumba (about to get paid), Wilson (likely gonna be paid around $4 mil and isn't worth that), Burakovsky (is probably right where he should be)

Add: Teravainen, Marchand, Ryan Ellis

idk ill take tom wilson on 4 mil any day of the week. marchand gets paid over 6 thats not a steal its just properly paid.

Wilson is a 3rd liner who happens to play with 2 very good players. Marchand at just over $6 mil is a HUGE steal when these other guys who are PPG players are getting $9+

he want even supposed to be an NHLer so he signed a long term when he had his few good seasons. now he plays with bergeron and pasta who are both better than him IMO. he is a good player on a adequate contract but at over 6 million you have to be the main guy on your line in order to be a steal. Marchand isnt that hence being left off this team. ALso hes a batch with an i
