The other Nylander is already looking like a bust.

No question that's why the offer is what it is. Less than .5pts GM in the AHL! Needs a change and Leafs gamble that moving to Toronto and living with family can be the tonic.

A 2nd is too much. Leivo looks to be a better player and Carrick is by a mile.

Only danger is that William worries to much about younger brother Micheal and William's play tanks.
I usually don't care if players are traded with the same division but in this case, I think the Sabres would hate it if Micheal turned into a good player with the Leafs.

Yeah but Leivo alone, given an opportunity could be a top 6, 40-50 point guy. Both he and Carrick would step onto lineup immediately! It really is a gamble!

Agree with you, he might with worth the chance. A year with the Marlies, being supervised by the Leafs and his dad might do him wonders.

Speaking of the Marlies, what's the status of Sheldon Keefe? I thought he might moved to the NHL in some capacity but I don't remember seeinganything. I was most impressed how organized and focussed the Marlies were game in, game out.

Yeah I'm not sure either! Says he wants to stay. I think he's pretty loyal to Dubas so I expect they will come to terms somehow! Don't think there's a spot on Babcocks staff at this point!
