Maybe Webber and a 1st for Theodore. Weber isn't likely better than Theodore and his contract is utter trash. Montreal is going to have lose a deal to get out from under that contract.

Lmao stop spewing lies. Weber is far better than Theodore in pretty much every ******* way except being younger. And his contract is 7.8AAV which is pretty standard for a 1D which HE IS.
God people are stupid
Plus in real cash he's getting paid like 6m for a couple years, 3m and then 1m which is attractive for any cheap team with an internal cap.
beavereater and Meeces liked this.

Come to grips with reality friend. Bergevin was destroyed in the Weber trade and each year that passes it becomes worse as he declines with age and he is declining. His underlying stats have plummeted each year for the past 4 seasons. He wasn't the top defencemen in Nashville when he was traded and has no wheels that are getting worse with age.

It's comical at best when people here seem to think that Bergevin has the capacity as GM to pull off multiple big name trades...... During his tenure as GM he has managed 1 big name trade and that was during the off season... If you include this seasons galchenyuk/Domi that's two.... He's never been able to put multiple pieces together (nor have many GMs) on multiple trades to better the team...
He's done for now...face it
