Between Klingberg, Honka, Johns, & Polak, Dallas doesn't need anymore RHD. As of right now, Petry is a slight upgrade over Lindell, but over the course of the next 5 years Lindell is only going to get better, while Petry is going to start declining. Dallas is better off keeping Lindell on the left side while also retaining their 2nd round pick.

It's just too much of a lateral move for Dallas given the number of defensemen they have; particularly right-shot defensemen.
