Would be worth the risk financially, hometown kid would be a huge story to drive tix sales and he should sell a ton of merch, good luck keeping a team together though

I don't see the leafs even doing this for 4 1sts to be honest. Once in a generation player. Very low chance those picks become anything close to what AM is and with the leafs closer to a cup than in the past 50 years it ant happening

Well I guess you can hope. But I would still see the leafs matching and then moving Kadri if needed. Then likely trading Matthews somewhere for a better packages because 14 mil for one player is an anchor no matter who
