leafs don't need spooner, unless they wanted to cap dump zaitsev. don't know why the probably out of playoff rangers would give any futures for an one year rental panarin.

Because the Rangers will be signing him once he becomes a free agent anyways!!!

that's what I'm thinking about panarin. he'll be a ranger 2019/20 anyways, so why waste these assets. seems to theme on this site, trading full value for a upcoming free agent.

Either he has no interest in the Rangers, at which point why does a rebuilding team sign a rental...
Or he would be interested in the Rangers, so why not just wait and get him for just money??

I do understand what your saying but wouldn’t it be perfect to trade for him and Milano for the future of this team!! Milano has a lot of potential and is also a New York boy!!!

So youre going to give up Hayes, DeAngelo, Sean Day...a 1st and a 3rd for the opportunity to include Milano in the deal?!?

I like Milano too, but that just doesn't make any sense. The real piece in the deal is Panarin, and he could in theory be had for just money...Milano becomes a non factor.
