Description
Overpayed by 1 million but he’ll only be 30 when this contract ends and this might end up being a steal if he pulls a .75ppg like he did in the playoffs.

But people are going to say what they’ll say but no one knows what he’ll produce playing top line minutes. He sure looked elite and made some major plays when it mattered.

Long story short. Wilson is a huge fan favorite he helped us win a cup. I’m happy we have him for another 6 years

I didn't remember this specific conversation just remembered all the people telling me how crazy I was thinking Wilson was a top 6 forward. All I had to do was check my post history and find a Wilson post. Doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure it out.

Still pretty weird. But congrats on wilson scoring exactly 40 points with the greatest goal scorer and a HOF center on his line

I think not playing a full season was part of the discussion too because of suspensions. Really surprised he never came close to another one

Ya it’s hard to remember conversations from a while ago once the season starts. But tommy tough nuts did have a good season. He had a really fast start out of suspension

Jake guentzel.....had a crazy good year... you could argue that hes a top 10 winger after this season. people have blown matthews for 5v5 goals but that dude killed it

Ya he had 33ish on 5 v 5. Something like that. Hoping for another 2nd round rematch this year. But won’t happen unles the pens fix that friggin defense
