The top four is better than what won the previous two cups. The second one had Ron Hainsey getting top pairing minutes and no Letang. Maatta was also pretty bad for both of those runs and is coming off a good year. Dumoulin is a better player now as well.

And the previous Cup had Carlson, Orlov, Niskanen..

...and a worse group of forwards. The other team has Malkin, Crosby and Kessel, Hornqvist.

Also, Carlson, Orlov, Niskanen isn't some crazy elite defense. Carlson and Niskanen are good. Orlov is fine. Healthy Letang is better than any of those three. Dumoulin is the best defensive player out of that group.
