I dont think Montreal do this, they have a real good shot to sign Simmonds at a friendly price at the end of the year if they want.

Schenn for one year of Lehtera and one 1st rd pick. Ouch.

It would cost a 1st to get Zucc. Add another for the Rangers to take Lehtera. Rangers don't care about your cap problems.

Not sure why everyone is ripping you here, all the trades seem decently reasonable. Maybe some tweaks on the Rangers and mtl trade but I think the Carolina trade is quite fair, Konecny is a stud.

as a CAR fan, i gotta ask why not?

Rask value is not more than the 2nd and 4th,

so essentially it's Faulk for Konecny and a prospect in Rubstov, which is a win for CAR

other than removing rask from our already lack of Center depth, why would we not make this trade, the value is there
