Description
So I stole the Dallas Trade from here: https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/822373 It's a good deal, I think. I slightly tweaked the 3rd round pick.

Ottawa trade - look, every Habs post has a variant of this trade. We want to thin out our blue line and Ottawa may need help making the floor year after next, especially if Karlsson walks and Stone gets anywhere near 9m (because he'll be traded). So at least there is a little reasoning behind why they might take him.

I have Kotkaniemi and Vejdemo on the roster basically for 9 games while Shaw and Bryon are out. If they're out for more than 9, Bitten and Evans might replace them.

why not? He's a big strong guy but he'll never be better than a 12th or 13th forward. We got a lot of young prospects coming up who need NHL level seasoning who could potentially be more.

Trading Deslauriers is a minor move and if a team is willing to take him then he can be moved. Habs have a surplus of bottom 6 wingers and fringe NHL/AHL prospects than can take his place.

Exactly! I like the kid. I like Shaw. Scherbak, Froese, McCarron - all these guys have potential and value - but none of them are irreplaceable.
