Beyond the fact that Spezza would never waive his NTC to return to Ottawa, I would hope Ottawa would find a better return for Erik Karlsson. At this point though, nothing would shock me.

I also don't see the Anaheim giving up Gibson in the Stone trade when they don't have any high end goalie prospects in the system and Ryan Miller is surely going to hang them up.

How many times has Jason Spezza stated that he has no desire to play in Canada? And he's definitely not waiving to go back to Ottawa.
