    1. Marleau will most likely not waive his NMC to go to Vegas
    2. Marner playing alongside Tavares will lead to a contract larger than Nylander's
    3. The defense looks really weak as Justin Holl may not prove he can even play top 6 mins and Timothy Liljegren may need another year in the minors.
    4. No need for Sheahan with cheaper options in Jooris and you also have Lindholm in the system.
    5. I don't think you could get 2 seconds and a lower - mid tier prospect for Brown and Marchment

    Issue with number 2, Marner will be signed to a long term deal before camp this year. He will make more than 6.7

    I hope he is signed before camp this year because if not they will have the dreaded cap troubles every leafs fan has nightmares about

    From a credible source: Hockey 24/7
    #leafs expected to announce all three contract extensions some time in August (at the same time). They will lock up Matthews, Marner and Nylander long term. Hearing Matthews and Marner are willing to take a bit less to win multiple championships.

    Wow I don’t understand what people see in Kapanen and Johsson you paying him 2.7M for what????? And you low ball what are or more like to be the studs of the team.
