Poehling is missing, but that makes sense all around, but i think Byron will get 3,5 somewhere in the league

As a avid Hawks fan, there is no way we give up a 1st round pick and Beaudin for Patches who wants a long term deal at $6M+ a year and who will be 30 years old. Unless MTL takes Ansimimov and a 2nd instead of the 1st round pick the Hawks are giving up.

Spencer Knight is going to become the next Price, so why not bring him in to succeed Price. Primeau can be traded, I just didn't know how much he'd be worth.

We'll take Anisimov and the 2nd but draft Dustin Wolf with the 2nd.

Who? Lehkonen deserves his contract. Scherbak could settle for 4.5M. Mete and Juulsen deserve similar numbers, and they will be our top 2 defensemen in a couple of years so they deserve at least 4.5M. I admit I overpayed Hudon a bit. Domi deserved 6M.

Juulsen Mete and Sherback havent played a full anhl year. They have proved nothing. You cant give 5 millions for 5 years to kids that have played 30 games in nhl.

Have you watched them play this season? They are sure superstars. Juulsen scored his first goal in just his 6th NHL Game. Mete was the best defenseman on the Habs while Weber was gone. Scherbak has a perfect combo of hands, speed, and shooting and has been preparing for a 1st/2nd line role on the Habs ever since he was drafted. If you don't think that they deserve 4.5M each (at least), you actually have to think about how well they are playing on one of the worst NHL teams.

Dude I watched every habs games and pretty everything you say is wrong. Petry was the best defensman. All the kids are good but they are far to be superstar. Sherback didnt manage to go in the top 2 lines even with all the injured players. They're good but they deserves a 2-4 years at 2-3 millions max each.

I disagree, Scherbak will be a top 6 forward, Mete and Juulsen will be our future 1 and 2. I understand that they are playing worse than most defensemen and forwards of their potential, but they are on the rebuilding Habs.

I agree that they are the future of the Habs, and they have the potentiel, but you cant give bigs contracts to kids that didnt prove their value. That's why a transistion contract (2-4 years, around 2-3 millions) are more appropriate for those kids. Lookat the Domi's contract.

2-4 year deals would put them from the age 24 to 27, which would make them even more expensive in the long term. Costing up to 6M a year each due to them being some of the oldest and best RFAs or the best young UFAs.
