Description
Aiding the rebuild for the Habs through a couple 'almost ready' prospects plus multiple picks and giving the Preds another top end goal scorer.

Similar to Skinner trade but a prospect replaces a pick. Not dependent on Patches signing an extension.

First Preds trade I've seen on here that I could live with. That being said, I don't think it gets done from MTL's perspective.

After the Skinner trade... in your opinion what SHOULD Bergevin be getting for Pacioretty? Keep in mind he's 30 and as of today effectively a rental. Skinner is similar contractually but 4 years younger.

Skinner is similar contractually, but had a No trade/movement clause. HUGE factor in pulling off a trade. Skinner basically got to help decide where he was going to go. Many people forget that. That's not saying that Patches will get ton more, but he'll get more.

However, I like the trade for both sides.
