You're hopeless, dude. There's absolurely no need for anybody to debate wih you because, in your mind, there's only one truth...and it's you who have it. After those many encounters, I came to realise that...
"twice the carreer Vinny had" lol! Shortsided, arrogant, egocentrical plus overcompensate much?
Ba-Bye!
I think I make it pretty clear when I'm arguing subjective points that are very much up for debate. I'm certainly a prick other times. Earlier today someone proudly told me that Justin Faulk was a third pairing defensemen this year. Well, no, he played nearly 23 minutes per night. That's not subjective, thats a fact, the guy was being a prick, so I'm going to respond in kind.
You really don't think your comment was a douchey one? Go ahead and take a look at it again, it was downright instigating....WHICH IS TOTALLY OKAY.
anyway, let's get on to the debate.
In one corner, we've got Datsyuk, a shade under a point per game. Roughly +2,000,000 in his career. Three Selkes. Widely regarded as the best defensive forward of his era. Multiple MVP nominations, four time lady byng winner, he reverse hit shea weber (never forget), two time cup winner.
Then we have Vinny. Oh, he started off hot, great two way player, tough, physical (kinda), scored....then things kind of fell off the rails. One Richard trophy, one cup (and only one other decent playoff run as a second line center), and one big fat buy out, and a whole bunch of healthy scratches towards the end. He never reverse hit shea weber.
In 20 years, everyone will remember the magic man, no one is going to remember that guy that was really really good for two seasons.
