I don't think they do this.
I also think JJ will play better than people expect. It won't be right away but if there is one place he can right the ship it's in pittsburgh. The coaching there for defense men is simply better than anwyhere else.

I also think JJ was brought in knowing they are are probably going to trade out shultz at the end of the year.
As much as I like Shultz, he's not a primary cog in the wheel and the trade value for him will be high. That will be important when they are looking for centers next year.

I agree, I think schultz's time with Pens will be coming to an end. He is gonna need another pay raise, and is now a valuable piece.
