Although I do agree that the Blues need to make some trades to get some Cap Space, I don't think that Joel Edmunson should be the one to go. For one, his contract really isn't that bad, and second, he is a vital piece to St. Louis' second defensive line.
If it were up to me, I would trade Boumeester before him. His contract is about 5 million per year and he also only has one year left on his contract.

I agree with the Goldobin trade the Canucks don't seem to want to give him a chance so might as well get something back for him other than lose him to waivers
