Description
Don’t like the Hawks outlook at all this coming season. Still not sure what to think of Brandon Saad. Could he actually be traded again? This one would be sending him “home” to Pittsburgh for two pending UFAs. I like adding Brassard and feel as if the Pens could afford moving him with their depth at center. Hagelin still has wheels and can be useful on the Hawks inept PK. Boqvist looked like he belonged in the NHL last night. He seems to be an upgrade to any of the incumbents so why not?! In any event, I see Chicago finishing last in the Central once more and near the bottom conference and league-wide again. Sigh...

Two things
1. We aren't moving Saad, the Panarin Saad Swap makes CBJ look silly if he walks in free agency.... no reason to throw away Saad for two pending UFAs when our LW depth is really bad with Saad.

2. If we were to move him it would either be for a high pick and a prospect or another player with team control and a prospect.

Actually, it took six years but I guess you’re right, bud. Anything change for the Bolts with Yzerman stepping down as GM?

i think people are overreacting. brisebois only learned from yzerman. yzerman is still going to help him learn for this season.

also teams like toronto and nyi wanted brisebois when they fired their old gm's, so clearly he's not just some random guy

Yep, Tampa is in a good position as it looks to reach even greater heights in the near future.
