Such a horrible trade for the Flyers! You can't be a Flyers fan if you think that is what Sanheim's value is.

Unproven, but really good prospect and a 2nd actually seems fair for a dman in his prime. Braun is very underrated and will be forgotten now with Karlsson, Burns, and Vlasic on the Sharks.

I'm just not sure this trade helps both teams for what they want. Aren't the Flyers still building up to contending while the Sharks want to win now?

Hextall wasn't giving up Sanheim for Mike Hoffman...there is zero chance he would do it for Braun.

You know 100% that Sanheim was part of that offer?

Again, I don't see why this trade happens as it pushes teams in two different directions the opposite way.

OTT wanted Sanheim as part of any deal and Hextall said no.

Do you have proof of this or is it speculation?

This was at the deadline so I could see Hoffman having more value at that point

Yet still not enough value to move Sanheim

I see absolutely zero reason why we would do this trade. We are building a solid D core of young players and why would we trade away one of those pieces AND a draft pick for a mid level bottom 4 pairing guy when we already have MacDonald, Gudas, Hagg, Morin to fill the role of bottom 4.
