There's nothing there that motivates Anaheim to even consider that move.

if he bounces back i would rather just keep zaitsev. also brown is good for 15-20 goals and kills penalties, he is a valuable top 9 guy. but yeah this trade prob wouldnt happen

and if zaitsev plays how he did in his rookie season id rather not make that trade , that trade is only if he doesnt improve this year, and you would prob retain and sweeten the pot.

Moving Gardiner isn't necessary for cap reasons, since the Leafs have cap this year and Gardinger isn't Leaf next year.

Moving gardiner save's you cap for the rest of brannstroms ELC instead of extending gardiner for 6+ mill next summer
