A Pesce/Nylander trade has logic. I would even say the Canes would keep Ferland and the pick. But to make the proposed trade "real" you have to show the salary that the Canes and Nylander would agree to. I'm sure the Canes don't want to overpay Nylander and then they have the Aho and Teravanen RFA contracts coming.
