Description

Dallas needs secondary scoring and Montreal needs defenseman. Scherbak and Honka were both former 1st round picks in 2014, who did not live up to expectations and might need a change of scenery. De La Rose probably won't get the best opportunity in Montreal, due to them having too many forwards. I see this as a match made in heaven.

dont see how Scherbak and De La Rose would be be helping "secondary scoring" on the Stars based on their Top 9 to date. Some sort of combo of these guys

No room for those guys and they haven't come close to the NHL production of some of those guys so I dont see this as a realistic trade that the Stars would be looking for

No Radulov is the perfect guy to play with that line. Sorry but you arent bumping down one the Top RWers in the game for Scherbak. He isnt top 6 ready yet and you wont break up one of the better liens in the western conference for him

I just don't see the fit. Stars need D and Honka as disappointing as he has been still fills a big need for them. Will Scherbak produce more Janmark in a second/third line role? I dont see that as a clear upgrade. Janmark put up 35 in a Hitchcock offensive suppressed team. Janmark (and the rest of the stars secondary) have the chance to ope up their offensive game under Montgomery.

Just dont see the fit bw the 2 teams
