I would rather keep Soderberg over guys like Nieto, Ghetto, Wilson

Avs fans needs to stop with O'Connor on the roster, he isnt good

I doubt COL is in a rush to get rid of Soderberg. He's overpaid, but he's still a solid 3C. I know it's nice to get more ice time for the younger guys, but that leaves a lot of questions down the middle. What happens if MacK gets hurt? Your centers would be: Jost + a mix of Kerfoot/Kamenev/Wilson/Compher/Toninato. Not a lot of good NHL experience there at center.

I think if you want to move guys out to make room for prospects, it would more likely be Wilson or maybe Andrighetto/Nieto/Compher.

Also - Kaut doesn't play center, and I doubt Timmins gets NHL minutes any time soon with how long he's been out.

I like O'Connor better than toninato,Wilson, and dries. O'connor has leadership qualities and good speed and shot would be a good 4th liner with upside of line 2 in future.

I feel either Wilson or soda need to go. They are only getting older and are already to slow for the pace of current and future hockey. It's a league where speed kills. No reason to keep 2 slow guys that are way over priced over a young speedy guy that can produce point for and not against.

Hahaha man you're the only one that doesnt like oconnor.. hes better than toninato, better option than wilson.. keep soderberg until his deal expires we have the room, kaut is a RW and timmins was expected to make the team out of camp this year (quotes from sakic) if not for the concussion in OHL playoffs

He is not better than Wilson and Toninato. Dries perhaps but O'Connor looked worse and worse the more pre season games he played and was a complete train wreck on the 4th line in Vegas. He isnt a NHL foward right now.

2nd liner future? What in the world? He doesnt have nearly that sort of ability.

im not the only one, there is a lot of tape out on the kid now, a lot of criticism from writers who cover the Avs who are critical of his game so far . Hes just not good enough to be considered a top call up for the Eagles nor he is good enough to be a 4th liner NHLer

This team and dev system finally has some talent, why would you slot in OConnor onto the 4th when you have some talented guys who you can slot into more meaninful rolls at least on teh 3rd line and push down guys like Boureque or Nieto to the 4th line.

Thats depth, not slotting out 4th liner that doesnt offer much for another 4th liner that doesnt offer much
