If you're going to trade a 22 year old dman that looks fine at the NHL level, you do it in a package for someone who has done something, anything, at the NHL level. Not Scherbak and a guy who would be the Ducks 7th or 8th dman.

No, I just think that Anaheim have one of the best top 4 in the league and still have Mahura & Larsson in their farm. Maybe the trade could be Scherbak vs Larsson or something else but Anaheim are strong at D and they have a lot of injuries now and they might want to mix thing up a little bit.

Yeah, you've gotta give up more than a guy that hasn't been able to find it offensively in the show + a not-so-good dman. All three of those guys that you've named are 22 or under, and still have a good amount of shine on their prospect status.

Mahura havn't play 10 game in the A yet while Scherbak had 30 pts in 26 games last year.
I agree that for Pettersson, we should paid more, but not if we're going after Mahura.
