Trade with Ducks - trying to fix the price

Description

So basically I'm wondering what Duck fans think would be a fair price for one of their d prospects. It seems to my review that the Ducks are set on D but their forwards - while a good group - are getting older. So I am sending a pair of prospects to them in return.

If that doesn't work for you, Duck fans, let me know what you would like. I tried to see if there was a bad contract or two I could take back to sweeten the deal, but it seems like the big salaries are players you don't want to move or have NTCs.

Interesting question. The Ducks are overloaded on RW, soft on LW, and four deep on NHL defensemen (Fowler/Lindholm/Larsson/Petterson on LD and Manson/Montour/Schenn/Welinski on RD), so (a) Mahura ought to be available, and (b) you may not be setting your sights high enough. My view is that BOTH SoCal teams are in desperate need of LW's. I think you should evaluate Hudon and Lehkonen, and give some thought to Tyler Toffoli. I don't think changing coaches is the only move Blake is considering.

Damn this would be a tough one imo. I think everyone knows that Scherbak is on the block, but I'd be hesitant to move Evans.
Evans fits the mold (right shooting two-way C) for what MTL needs now and in the future, but Mahura is exactly the kind of LD prospect Habs are looking for. Also, knowing Mahura was Cale fleury's partner in the WHL makes me more interested.
