      Jackets decline

Are they going to let him walk at the end of the season then? It seems very clear he has no intentions of re-signing with them, he even stated he didn't like the city/area. What could make this trade more realistic?

"Jackets decline" gives zero incite and is pretty much a wasted comment. If you have any useful or valuable opinions please let me know.

They asked for Debrusk, Carlo, pick if that helps. B’s declined.

That is true but clearly the Bruins weren't willing to give up Debrusk, maybe Carlo too? Is there any team that is willing to give them more or a better offer? Any GM would decline a few offers while trying to maximize their return, simple business. Do you think come the trade deadline or next off-season before the draft they would come down on his asking pricing if they don't get the offers they are looking for, especially with a player who is going to walk away from the franchise?

If it’s at the deadline Krug is almost worthless to them as he becomes a UFA the following season.

They want a premier young NHL ready forward in the package. Heinen is decent, but not what they are looking for.

Way to early to be panicking about him walking, they have til the deadline to see where they are in the standings and what there needs are then. Things may change berween now and then. I think it’s a forgone conclusion he goes UFA and prob signs with the Rangers.
