Brutal trade. Want Pettersson and Dahlen too? Virtanen and Tryamkin are worth 1st round picks each

You might get a 1st for the pair if someone is desperate enough, but there's no way anyone is coughing up two 1sts for a former 6th overall pick that can't crack the top 6 in Vancouver, or for a defenceman that a) can't come over before 2020-2021, and b) isn't even guaranteed to come over, and I'm sure him leaving in the first place won't help his value either.

Virtanen skates like he has bricks in his hockey pants , Tryamkin will be playing in the KHL next season.

I agree, im a Canucks fan and yes people have **** on us many times for choosing Virt in that year's draft, but I can say this: He is looking more and more like a top 6 forward. His point production has been improving, and and his skating ability has improved a lot. Hes played better than Ehlers this year, and hes starting to show more and more confidence. As a true fan, i look past the numbers, they dont tell you everything.

Virtanen seems to be improving which is why I want him on the Devils; as a right hand shot with some size and physicality to play along Hall/Hischer. Any chance VAN trades him?

At this point no, Virt has been working the confidence of Travis Green. Hes even getting some penalty kill minutes as well as more ice time. His point production has gone up this year, and we can really use someone with his speed, shot and size

It's decent base for a trade. In my opinion, NJ should change that 5th round pick to a conditional 2021 3nd round pick which would turn into a second round pick if Tryamkin signs with the team and if Virtanen scores like 100 points or something until January 1st, 2021, the pick would turn into a first round pick. I dunno.
