          This is Interesting.
I kinda like that Monahan trade, actually from both sides it makes a fair bit of sense - though I dont see it happening realistically.
No way COL takes Wideman for Gelinas.
Not sure Hoffman is worth bringing in -- he had a flukey year in OTT and is already older.

I dont think the mony for 3rd overall is realistic either but a fun scenario. Mony is an excellent player but hes very soft(which isnt the worst thing but we do have Lord Burke overlooking things)
Wideman for Gelinas was more just a quick move to get rid of Wideman. I did retain a chunk of salary and Wideman is a beast on the PP which gives him some value. Especially a team like Colorado who dont have much outside of Barrie in terms of PP QBs.
As for Hoffman, hes had two straight years just short of 30 goals. Hes only 25, which isnt old. Guys that produce like him usually tend to cost north of $5/6 Mill. Hes a shooter and has one of the best shots in the game today. I would buy low on him.

Mony could be stronger and more physical but I don't know many 3 time 20 goal, 1st line centre, 21 year olds.
