Spooner is useless. Probably KHL bound after next year. Sure he might rack up a few points riding shotgun till then.

Considering the deal is essentially eberle for Spooner, I'd say PC lost double as hard now

Spooner will show flashes of brilliance, but the mistakes he makes as a 26 year old defensively are his downfall

What does EDM do now at 3rd line C?

I kinda view this as a nothing trade. Both guys struggling. Maybe Spooner does what Maroon did and piles up points, but even then he will likely price himself out of EDM as he would look to get paid big time
