They just keep getting worse. The ducks aren’t trading Montour nor are they trading a pkg of Henrique and Montour for a 3rd pair D and 4C and a kid that’s shown nothing.

I lie henrique better than sheahan and id like to see montour and what he can do and no maatta. Sprong and the 2nd make up for the slight downgrade for anaheim

I literally just told you why. They arent giving up Montour and Henrique for a $4M 3rd pair Dman, a prospect that’s never lived up to his hype, and a 4C.

There’s a reason every PIT fans trade includes Määttä and Sprong. They’re bad. Ritchie for Sprong is the only trade I've seen worth giving thought to.

So would that mean Montour is a 3rd pairing D as well then? Määttä had 29 points last year to Montour's 32. Sprong is not even close to "bad" but he is included in most trade proposals on here because Pittsburgh has made it clear that there is no room for him and not willing to give him a chance.

Maatta is the 48 ranked LD and Montour is the 28 ranked RD this year. Being that there are 31 teams that means theoretically Montour is top pair RD and Maatta isn't. And even if you think the value is fair (it isn't) the ducks were looking to add a D before Fowler and now Lindholm were out. Not swap Dmen.
