Nelson is a UFA at the end of the season, I doubt it would cost more than a second rounder and an NHL ready prospect.

Scandella's contract is not that bad, he has one more year at $4 mil and would be one of Edm better defenders. The only reason I think he gets moved is because Pilut has been so good in the AHL this year, Guhle is ready for the NHL and Beaulieu has played great this year, leaving a glut of LHD on the roster.
