If I was to propose a Gardiner for Donato/3rd the B's fans would lose it on me. Gardiner would score the game winner in game seven against us, I'm sure! I think Gardiner stays with the Leafs as their own rental. Not a bad starting package for a pending free agent though.

why would leafs trade gardiner for some picks? they aren't rebuilding, they're trying to win.
