The thing is, even if St. Louis decided to retool or rebuild, those would probably the 2 players they'd be least likely to move. They're both still young and locked up long term. And if you have a young RHD that's 6'6" and skates like the wind, you just dont ever trade him in my opinion. Not to mention, the value simply isn't there. Goalie prospects dont have as much value as people think, just because some of the best goalie prospects never turn into anything, and some guys become NHL starters out of nowhere. It's a bit of a crapshoot.

Tarasenko and Parayko have so much value, that package might get you one of them... Think about what Ottawa paid for Duchene, then add even more. I would think if they were moving Parayko, Mete would have to be coming back

Yep, i was actually thinking mete or brooks would have to replace the 2roud draft pick... not sure anyone would give much more depending on how good u see suzuki. That being said, i agree this is not happening smile i will modify the trade with mete

I felt

1st. Suzuki, primeau and alzner for tarasenko and this was base on pacioretty trade ( alzner being tatar, suzuki the same, 1st and primeau versus a second )

Lekonen plus mete for parayko

Oh I know Ottawa got ripped off. But both Parayko and Tarasenko have more years left on their contracts than Duchene did. It makes them more valuable than Duchene IMO. And a 6'6", fast, young top pairing RHD locked up on a good contract is about as valuable as you can get

I don’t know if Montreal could pull off a trade like this. We’ve already got 2 stud right handed winger prospects in Bokk and Kyrou so we don’t need Suzuki and other than the 1st round pick there’s no value coming back.

Tank has more value than Max did and Alzner brings a negative value to any trade. Blues have good goalie prospects in Husso and Fitzpatrick. It’s not far off value wise, probably needs tweeking.

Lehkonen and Mete does not begin to touch Parayko.

If i’m Armstrong, i’m not interested.

2 1sts, Suzuki, Brook, Evans would get me to listen.
