Description

1. Puljujärvi $2.2M bridge 2yr (comparable Sam Bennett)
2. Tobi Rieder $2.5M (comparable Rieder, Nash, Athanasiou)
3. Chiasson $1.3M (comparable Brian Gibbons?)
4. Khaira $800k
5. Koskinen $3.5M (comparable Grubauer, Bernier?)
6. Lehner $2.2M (comparable Lehner, Saros, Hutton)
7. Mark Stone 6 years $8.4M (this might be a stretch, he probably will demand more)

Trade Sekera for cap space (this is probably the biggest stretch)

Tada now the Oilers have better forwards including a wonderful second line Nuge Stone duo. Hopefully goaltending tandem holds up. Defense is essentially the same as this season.

Just buy Sekera out, there will be no market for him. Other than that it's not bad. Chiasson will look at a Lee Stempniak deal a few seasons ago 2.5x2 I think at the very least, this is a guy who hasn't made a ton if money by NHL standards and I'm sure he will look to cash in on a career season. EDM will probably be wise to walk away as Chiasson is shooting a whopping 35% this season as opposed to his career average of 12%

Yes and if Sekera can't be moved (even retained salary?) Then probably buy him out and go for a lower tier ~$4-6M UFA winger such as Hayes, Silfverberg, Donskoi, Dzingel etc
