The AZ and CHI trades seems to be quite optimistic from VAN's point of view. 1.) Hossa is NOT off AZ's books until 2021-2022. Also, they're already at the Cap Floor even if the cap jumps to $83M like Bettman suggested because the cap floor this year is $58.8M and if we just incrementally move that cap floor with the ~$3M increase...that would be $62M and AZ is @ $66M. 2.) Hossa gets paid $500k a year...$1.5M in total..., NOT $5.275M a year, so that's why it cost the Hawks so "Little" which is a in quotes because it was still an expensive trade, but to move Loui who will make $20M in salary...that's $18.5M different and a gigantic problem for AZ who is a budget minded team. 3.) The hawks probably will take on Gagner, but they're not sending picks back for a cap dump. It would have to be part of a larger trade that involved more cap going to VAN.

No way Mark Stone is going to sign with Vancouver for less, Then what he's currently making now. And the odds of Vancouver getting Jack Hughes is slim to none. No way Vancouver lands the #1` overall pick.
