Hmmm.... this is a tough one. I think that 2nd round pick would have to be conditional if your sending Chad Krys. If Krug extends then I'm fine with the 2nd. If he doesn't maybe a 4th? Chad Krys and Dylan Sikura are pretty darn good prospects. It's just a lot for a rental that's admittedly a good player, but not a great player. Kudos for trying to make things fit.

I agree, I just overpaid because I didn't want the Boston faithful to attack me for underpaying. Regardless, I think Krug could be a very good fill in for one year without giving up too much. Sikura and Krys are good but it seems like we'll have plenty of young guys coming up to fill those roles.

Yeah, I could see that. This trade is better than a late 1st rounder for sure though! I'm still curious to hear their thoughts. post BOS in the title? may get a few more BOS looks then?

Next year for sure. I assume if we are going to be huge players in free agency over the summer then they're going to try and win next year. We'll see though.
