You’ll need to trade Hagel to get Kap, and if Ottawa gets Seabrook, you’ll have to take Ryan. I’d personally keep Hagel, maybe you haven’t followed him much but he is lighting up the WHL and is an A prospect with top line potential. Getting Ryan isn’t bad, he can still play in the top nine and score 40+ points a year. You’ll get a pretty good return from Saad, but not from Toronto. You’ll need to trade him to a team without any cap problems like New Jersey, Buffalo, or Colorado. Nice ideas though.

Noted, these are indeed some good thoughts. I had never really herd of Hagel, I only really follow Rockford and the Hawks.

Same here, friend. I try to keep up with Boqvist but other than that I focus on the professional teams. Do you guys think Hagel will make the team next year? If so, what about Entwistle, Sikura, and Ejdsell?

I really couldn't say, I don't think any of them are ready yet. I don't think we'll have a clear look until training camp next year, the summer can make a big difference in a player. I doubt Boqvist will be ready and I'm not sure Ejdsell will ever take a secure spot on the roster, Sikura could but I think he's still a little under developed for the NHL level, I'd say he plays like, 20-30 games next year. I don't really have any thoughts on Entwistle.

I think Hagel needs to be tested in the AHL first. He's tearing it up in the WHL but we've seen so many prospects tear it up in juniors but struggle against pro competition. Would love it if he turned into a surprise gem. Sikura should be given a chance this year after the trade deadline. I'd like to give Ejdsell a chance too because I think we need to find out if he's got game or not. My biggest concern with him is his skating and we're already a pretty slow team. I like Entwistle and would love to watch him in the WJC if he makes Canada's team, but I think it might be a stretch. I like his potential but he needs more time to develop.

And as I was typing this they called up Sikura.
