I doubt the Blues would trade Parayko. The recent news is all overblown tbh. Any GM of an underperforming team would be listening on their players... this does not mean that the Blues are calling everyone trying to get rid of Tarasenko and Parayko. It just means that if someone offers what it will take, then Armstrong isn't going to shy away from a trade at this point.
With all that said, there is nothing in that package that makes me excited to make that trade as a Blues fan. We're giving up the best two players and we're really not getting anything back with serious upside. Maybe Lias can become Landeskog 2.0... maybe Pionk is Shattenkirk 2.0. I'd still rather have guaranteed Tarasenko and guaranteed Parayko over that. Skjei is getting ripped on by every Rangers fan lately - he isn't living up to expectations. Vesey is a complementary winger without a lot of upside. 1st round pick a year after we give the Rangers some really valuable assets? Might not be that good.
I think the Blues would have to see guys like Chytil/Kravtsov/Miller and the '19 NYR 1st just to get the conversation started for /one/ of Parayko or Tarasenko. If those pieces are involved, then the rest of the value can come in the form of Skjei/Kreider/Vesey/Pionk, but it's all about the Blues trying to find a guy with serious enough upside to move a top player with term on his contract.
