Schwartz is one of the few players who likely isn’t getting traded. He’s so good and is the engine that drives the Blues when they’re going. It’s no surprise that the team is 3-8-2 without him and 8-6-2 with him. Even if he was being traded, this is a really lame return.

If Schwartz gets traded he is not going to the Canucks. He will be traded to a team that is ready to contend.

That's a LOT to give up for a 60-ish point player, more so when Goldy is finally starting to look like a real offensive threat for the Canucks.
Schwartz is good, but I don't see how he helps the Canucks at this point in their season.

this is too much that the canucks are giving up for an injury prone 60-ish point player is healthy. Not worth it

You see, this is why the Blues won’t trade Schwartz. Teams think he’s just an average top 6 forward, but in reality he’s the Blues MVP and has carried Tarasenko’s line for years.
