We aren't making the playoffs, at least with what we're putting out on the ice lately. This is an effort to help shape the future of the franchise, both with getting a lot of picks in the 1st 4 rounds of the upcoming draft & clearing a ton of Cap Space to do damage in FA.

I love the chicago and edmonton trades. I think the canes should trade hamilton only if they can receive a top 10 pick or top 6 forward. Colorado's 1st rounder will probably be in the late 20s. I don't think the Williams trade happens. The LA trade is very very risky as faulk has actually been playing well recently and toffoli really hasn't scored that much and he's a "goal scorer". I think the MIN trade is the worst one by far because Nino is way worse than turbo, and we're giving them a 2nd. Overall not bad, except the MIN trade.

What do think would be a better deal? Seriously want to know. Still trying to gauge true values.

Turbo for nino and a first probably with a pick from Carolina. They don’t want to brake up the finnish chem with aho and turbo. For dougie it would be for the Ottawa first and a 4th and Carolina gives up the buffalo second probably. Carolina would have to add in a 3rd for the pick to go through

Chicago and Edmonton trades are great for us
I wouldn't do the LA trade because Faulk has been our 2nd best defenseman this season
Willy will probably get us a 3rd but a 2nd works for me
Minnesota isn't giving enough to get Turbo
